Concrete, Driveway & Patio Cleaning in Kenosha County & Lake County, IL
Bring back the clean look of driveways, sidewalks and patios.
Concrete takes abuse. Professional cleaning can make the difference obvious.
Driveways, sidewalks, patios and walkways collect algae, soil, traffic film and embedded grime. We use professional surface-cleaning equipment and methods appropriate for the condition of the concrete.
The result is a more even, cleaner appearance without pretending every stain or aged surface is magically new.

Saying what is not in the price is not a weakness. A surprise at the end of a job costs more goodwill than an honest line on a website ever will.
Every job runs the same way.
Consistency is most of what separates a professional job from a cheap one. This is the sequence, on every property.
We identify what is actually on the slab
Organic growth, tire marks, oil, rust, leaf tannin and efflorescence all look similar from ten feet away and none of them come off the same way. Treating them all as dirt is why a lot of driveways get cleaned and still look wrong.
Pre-treatment where it earns its place
Heavy organic growth gets treated before the surface cleaner touches it, so the machine is removing loosened growth rather than trying to grind it off.
Surface cleaner, not a wand
A rotating surface cleaner puts even pressure across the whole slab. A hand-held wand leaves the striping you see on driveways all over the county — a set of arcs and lines that make it obvious where someone got tired.
Edges and detail by hand
The surface cleaner cannot reach the last inch against the garage, the curb line, or the joints in paver work. That gets done by hand, and it is the part that separates a clean driveway from a mostly-clean driveway.
Full rinse and a walk-through
The slab is rinsed clean of residue and loosened material, and we walk it with you.
The things you were going to have to ask.
Insured
Code 3 Cleaning carries insurance. Certificates are available on request, and commercial accounts and property managers can have them on file before work starts.
Guaranteed
We do not stop until the job is right. If something is not right when we are done, it gets fixed — that is the whole policy and it does not need small print.
Estimates, usually same day
Most estimates go out the same day. If not, inside 24 hours. You should not have to chase a contractor for a number.
Pay how you want
Cash, check, card, and the common payment apps. Whatever is easiest on your end.
Code 3 Cleaning is firefighter-owned and based in Pleasant Prairie, now in our fourth season. You are dealing directly with an owner, not a call center — which is also why the guarantee above is worth something.
What southeast Wisconsin does to a driveway.
The freeze-thaw cycle here is hard on concrete. Water gets into the pores, expands when it freezes, and every winter opens the surface up a little more. Older slabs drink in more of whatever lands on them each year, which is why the same driveway gets harder to clean the longer it goes between washes.
Then there is the salt. Kenosha and Lake County roads get heavily salted from November through March, and that brine gets tracked up every driveway in the county. It leaves a white haze, it accelerates the surface breakdown, and it is why spring is the busiest concrete season we have.
Under trees, the problem is different: leaf tannin. Maple and oak leaves that sit wet on concrete through the fall leave a brown stain that is not dirt and does not come off with plain water. It needs to be treated. A lot of homeowners assume that stain is permanent. Usually it is not.
Straight answers.
Will my driveway look brand new?
It will look dramatically better and it will look clean. It will not look like fresh concrete, because concrete ages — it grays, it wears, and it takes on the character of every winter it has been through. Anyone promising new is selling you something.
Can you get oil stains out?
Sometimes. Fresh oil that has not fully penetrated usually comes up with treatment. Oil that has been soaking into a slab for years has gone into the concrete itself, and no amount of cleaning pulls it all back out. We will tell you which one you have before we quote.
What about rust from my sprinkler or a planter?
Rust needs a specific treatment rather than pressure. Some comes out completely, some lightens significantly. It depends on how long it has been there and how porous the slab is.
Will pressure damage my concrete?
Sound concrete handles it. Concrete that is already spalling, flaking or badly deteriorated will lose loose material — but it was going to lose it anyway. We assess the slab first and adjust rather than using maximum pressure everywhere.
Do you clean pavers differently?
Yes. Pavers need lower pressure and careful work so the joint sand is not blown out. It is a slower job than a flat slab and it is quoted accordingly.
Should I seal it after?
Sealing is a real benefit on newer concrete and on stamped or colored work, and cleaning first is a prerequisite either way. We can talk through whether it makes sense for your slab.
How often does concrete need cleaning?
Most driveways in this area want it every one to two years. Shaded slabs and anything under trees tend toward yearly.
Are you insured?
Yes. Code 3 Cleaning carries insurance and certificates are available on request. Commercial accounts and property managers can have them on file before work starts.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. We do not stop until it is right. If something is not right when we are finished, we come back and fix it.
How fast will I get an estimate?
Usually the same day, and inside 24 hours at the latest.
